Russian forces launch 200 drones in overnight attack against Ukraine

Russian forces launched roughly 200 Shahed, jet-powered Shahed, and Gerbera drones overnight into September 15, along with decoy drones, targeting Ukraine from launch sites in Russia, occupied Donetsk and occupied Crimea, Ukraine's Air Force reported.

As of 8 a.m., Ukrainian air defenses had shot down or neutralized 187 of the drones, with impacts recorded at seven locations and debris falling in three more; the attack was reported still underway.

Strikes hit warehouses and a gas station in Kyiv, marking the fourth attack on an Ukrnafta station in the capital since September 10, and Kyiv's mayor said a drone struck an office building in the Solomianskyi district.
