Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told TMZ she probably would not date a conservative, framing it as a matter of shared values rather than a blanket rule, and laughed through much of the exchange. The comment made its way to Fox News, where hosts Jesse Watters and Julie Banderas discussed it on air.

Banderas responded by bringing up Ocasio-Cortez's earlier decision to freeze her eggs and speculated about her future marriage prospects, while Watters noted they had only discussed dating, not marriage, before adding a remark about discussing a woman's age.
