The Village of Lytton, B.C., plans to hold its two-day Labour Day festival Sept. 5-6, with organizers saying dates could change depending on wildfire activity, according to the Lytton River Festival Society. The festival comes five years after the 2021 Lytton Creek wildfire destroyed nearly the entire village and forced roughly 250 residents to flee; society president Jessoa Lightfoot called the museum's rebuilding a testament to the community's resilience.
