Russian forces launched 107 Shahed, jet-powered Shahed and Gerbera drones along with decoy drones against Ukraine overnight into October 1, Ukraine's Air Force reported. Ukrainian air defenses shot down or neutralized 87 of them, with impacts recorded at 11 locations.

Strikes hit residential buildings and warehouses across three districts of Kyiv, sparking fires and wounding one person, while a separate strike on a business center in Odesa wounded another and caused a partial building collapse.
