Job vacancies in Ukraine rose 13% in the second quarter of 2026 versus the first, while resumes submitted jumped 75% year-on-year, according to a quarterly analysis from employment platform robota.ua. Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast accounted for 40.6% of the 337,058 vacancies tracked, with Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Kharkiv oblasts trailing behind.
Median employer salary offers in June were UAH 28,000 against UAH 25,000 sought by applicants, and a third of job seekers say they skip listings that omit pay. The report also notes that 74% of surveyed defense companies now offer workers exemption from mobilization as a recruiting perk, and most employers say they would hire workers aged 50 or older, with many open to 60 and up.
