



Russian forces launched a missile and drone attack on Odesa overnight on September 2, damaging a 24-story residential building with apartments destroyed on several floors and windows blown out nearby. Eight people, including a child, were injured, two of them hospitalized, according to Serhii Lysak, head of the city's military administration.
Cars, office buildings and two educational institutions were also damaged, and parts of the city lost power, electric transit and water service. Russia's Defense Ministry said the strikes targeted a plant producing unmanned boats and fuel tanks at the port of Odesa.
