Democrats are hoping for a wave in House races shaped by redrawn maps in California, Colorado and Ohio, while Trump urges supporters to treat the midterms as a referendum on himself even though his name isn't on any ballot.

Every cycle somebody redraws a map and calls it fairness, and every cycle the voters in that map get treated like pieces on somebody else's board. The candidates change, the trick stays the same.
