Steele Wheels Motor Museum in Bayer's Lake is currently displaying Terry Fox's restored 1980 Ford Econoline, the

Van of Hope

that supported his 143-day Marathon of Hope run, alongside its permanent collection of more than 100 classic cars, supercars and motorcycles.

On August 20, 2026, the museum will host tribute act The Fabulously Rich performing The Tragically Hip's final Kingston concert in full, marking that show's tenth anniversary, with tickets sold via Eventbrite.

The full dispatch is available from the source below.

✒ FROM THE EDITORIAL DESK
Nothing says reverence for a Canadian icon's cross-country cancer run quite like parking his actual van next to a fleet of supercars and a cover band's calendar listing. Still, if it gets people in the door for the IWK Foundation, the incongruity is probably a small price to pay.
