HuffPost's shopping desk highlights a self-warming pet pad from Colorado-based K&H Pet Products, a two-layer microfleece mat that reflects a pet's own body heat back without using electricity.

It comes in flat and crate-fitted versions, in sizes from 21 to 57 inches, and the manufacturer says the fabric is machine-washable.

A reviewer quoted in the piece says her arthritic senior dog picks the mat over every other spot in the house, which is the entire case being made here.
