Justin Oldpa Yeazehn, known as ProphetKey, is expected to be released Thursday, August 13, after serving a 180-day sentence for criminal contempt handed down by Liberia's Supreme Court in February 2026. The Court found his remarks toward Chief Justice Yamie Quiqui Gbeisay, including comments about his mother and unproven corruption accusations against the judiciary, vulgar and contemptuous.
His release is conditioned on demonstrating remorse: reports say the Court required a public apology published in three newspapers for five consecutive days plus a behavior bond. In his apology letter, ProphetKey apologized to the judiciary and to Liberian women he had previously insulted, acknowledging he lacked proof for his corruption claims and promising to change his conduct.
