Ukrnafta has begun deliveries of ORLEN-produced Arctic diesel to Ukraine, the company announced, part of preparations for the 2026/2027 winter that include building reserves and diversifying supply channels. The company's management board chairman said the goal is ensuring customers have access to fuel suited to cold weather.
The announcement follows a string of Russian drone strikes on Ukrnafta stations in Kyiv, including attacks on Sept. 10, 11, and 15 that damaged multiple sites and injured four people at one location. The company has also begun installing blast gabions around its Kyiv stations facing roads and pedestrian paths.
