Russian forces launched more than 10 drones at Chernihiv on Aug. 25, damaging critical infrastructure, an energy facility, warehouses and a store, according to city military administration chief Dmytro Bryzhynskyi. Three people suffered minor injuries, the city council reported.
Chernihivoblenergo said the strike on the energy facility left more than 30,000 customers without power across Chernihiv district and the city of Slavutych. The attack followed a drone strike the previous day that damaged a residential high-rise and injured 20 people, including two children.
