The Nevada Supreme Court affirmed a ruling against the Las Vegas Police Protective Association, which sued to stop the Citizen Review Board from publishing officer names and badge numbers on meeting notices.

The court found the union failed to demonstrate any viable privacy interest in the information, and that state law does not classify names or badge numbers as confidential.

Nevada's Open Meeting Law already requires such postings, meaning the board's practice was simply compliance rather than overreach.
