Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade's command post in the Lyman sector ahead of Defenders Day, alongside Commander-in-Chief Mykhailo Drapatyi and Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara. He presented service members with state awards and said the brigade, as part of Operation Vivaldi, has helped reclaim more than 125 square kilometers of territory.
Zelenskyy also convened a coordination meeting with commanders from five corps covering procurement simplification, drone force funding, artillery shell needs, front-line pay reform and incentives for absent-without-leave soldiers to return. The issues raised will reportedly be reviewed at a future Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff meeting.
