Russian attack kills 17-year-old girl and 59-year-old woman

A Russian airstrike on the Synelnykove district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast killed a 17-year-old girl and a 59-year-old woman on September 26, regional authorities said, with two others injured including a 6-year-old boy. The strike used a guided aerial bomb and hit the Mezhova community, damaging residential buildings, and prosecutors have opened a war-crimes investigation.

Russian forces also struck the Nikopol district with drones and artillery the same day, injuring three people and damaging an administrative building, store, homes and vehicles. The attacks follow a strike days earlier on industrial facilities in Dnipro that killed four employees.
