Former Rep. Charlie Dent said on MS NOW and CNN that Trump's recent run of AI image posts, including renaming New Mexico 'New America' after earlier renaming the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario, looks less like strategy and more like self-sabotage ahead of the midterms.
Dent argued Trump should be focused on affordability and ending the war he launched against Iran, not the Kennedy Center, a ballroom, or a reflecting pool, calling the posts 'a total distraction' that Americans find 'bizarre.'
MS NOW's Peter Alexander agreed, noting Trump keeps handing Democrats exactly what they'd ask for. Dent said he couldn't find a single Republican who thinks the posting spree is a good idea.

When a former member of the president's own party starts wondering out loud if he's trying to lose on purpose, you don't need a pollster to tell you something's off. A man doesn't rename a lake for fun unless the actual to-do list has gotten uncomfortable to look at. Either it's a strategy nobody else can see, or it's just what it looks like.
