A federal grand jury indicted former Pennsylvania state representative Jesse White on three child pornography charges, three weeks after FBI agents raided his Cumberland County townhouse. Investigators say a tip led to two flagged images showing a young child, later traced to devices and accounts belonging to White, followed by a search turning up laptops and hard drives with files categorized by type and showing children ages 7 to 15.
White, a Democrat who represented the 46th State House District until losing reelection in 2014, allegedly admitted to investigators that the material on his devices was child pornography. He has been held without bond since a July 22 detention ruling, and an attorney withdrew his pending law license reinstatement application this week.
