Rep. Cory Mills Loses Florida Republican Primary Amid Domestic Violence Allegations

Rep. Cory Mills lost his Florida Republican primary Tuesday while facing allegations he assaulted a woman and threatened to release nude images of an ex-girlfriend, along with a House Ethics Committee probe into whether he benefited improperly from federal contracts and claims he misrepresented his military service. Trump endorsed Mills in February but dropped him from a subsequent Florida endorsement list, and Gov. Ron DeSantis told reporters he does not support Mills.

Miss United States titleholder Lindsey Langston obtained a protective order against Mills last October after telling police he threatened to release intimate images and videos following their breakup. An earlier assault charge against Mills involving a 27-year-old woman was dropped. Mills also faced eviction from his Washington apartment last year over more than $85,000 in unpaid rent before repaying the debt.
