Confused Trump Can’t Explain One Of His Own Outrageous Truth Social Posts

Aboard Air Force One Sunday, President Trump was asked to explain why he reposted his own Jan. 6, 2021 video message telling Capitol rioters to go home in peace, originally shared on the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks along with roughly a dozen other posts. When a reporter specified the video was addressed to the rioters of Jan. 6, 2021, Trump responded, 'The who?' and then said he didn't know what she was talking about.

The video, which repeats Trump's false claims about the 2020 election and tells rioters 'we love you, you're very special,' remains posted on his Truth Social feed.

When a man can't recall something he put on his own feed, where it still sits for anybody to scroll by and read, you start to wonder who's minding the store. The rest of us get asked about a thing we said last Tuesday and we own it or we apologize. Saying “the who?” about a day the whole country watched is a choice, and not a convincing one.
