David Jolly, campaigning in Tallahassee with Rep. James Clyburn and former Rep. Al Lawson, said about 10% of Black Florida voters remain undecided and could determine the governor's race. He cited an NBC 6 poll showing him at 76% support among Black voters against 10% for Republican Rep. Byron Donalds, who would be Florida's first Black governor if elected.

Jolly argued Donalds should be more concerned about his low standing within the Black community than Jolly should be about not reaching 100%. He pointed to endorsements from Black pastors and legislators as part of his coalition, while Lawson said a Jolly win would also make history.
