Ukraine refines tactics against jet drones, hits 100% in tests — Defense Minister

Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara said Ukrainian-made Bars interceptor drones destroyed five jet-powered Shahed drones in five attempts during combat trials, a 100% rate against targets that require higher interception speeds than older propeller drones. Military commands are reviewing the data to scale up production and deployment, he said.

Khmara also pointed to positive results from heavy-caliber automated turrets, hundreds of which are now in service, with extended-range versions in development. He said Ukraine continues coordinating with partner countries to secure short-range air defense launchers and missiles.
