The men at that fort stood in the rain for 27 hours and never once got around to mentioning the present administration's agenda, which seems like an oversight on their part. A history lesson that ends with a wink at today's argument was never really a history lesson. Give the old fort its own day sometime and let it stand there without anybody leaning on it.
