Somebody decided tweed is now a political statement, which would be news to every professor and Sunday-school teacher who has worn it since before anyone in this argument was born. If a jacket bought online for thirty dollars is enough to sort a person into a political camp, the sorting says more about the sorter's boredom than the shopper's beliefs. A blazer is still just a blazer until somebody with a byline decides it isn't.
