Slovakia foils plot to torch drone factory

Slovak authorities detained three foreign nationals suspected of planning to firebomb an unmanned systems plant in eastern Slovakia, using intelligence from the Slovak Information Service and military intelligence. Police seized a gasoline-and-polystyrene mixture commonly used to make napalm, along with surveillance tools and a hand-drawn plan of the facility.

The bust follows reports that Russia has been recruiting criminal groups to target European defense manufacturers, including a similar arson attack on an Estonian drone maker's building this month that Latvian authorities are also investigating.
