



A Russian missile and drone strike overnight killed 12 people in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, including an Indian national, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. He said a significant volume of ballistic missiles and drones was used and that residential and civilian infrastructure was damaged.
Ukraine's Air Force said Russia launched ballistic and cruise missiles alongside nearly 200 strike drones, with air defenses intercepting or neutralizing 10 missiles and 187 drones; direct hits were recorded at 28 locations. Separately, a targeted strike on a Kyiv railway depot killed seven people, six of them rail employees, and four more died in Boryspil with 13 wounded.
Zelenskyy said Russian forces also damaged an export crossing on the border with Romania and struck Kherson, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.
