The Council of Economic Advisers released an assessment of President Trump's effect on manufacturing, concluding that a 'robust' resurgence is underway thanks to the administration's own policies.
The release credits tariffs with reshoring jobs, claims the Biden administration 'shipped over 200,000 American jobs overseas' in its final two years, and declares the country the world's largest energy exporter amid a steel 'renaissance.' It ties all of this to rising wages, factory construction, and a broader 'American Golden Age.'
No independent data, agency source, or methodology accompanies these figures in the release; the claims arrive as asserted conclusions from the same administration they praise.

When the man selling you the horse also writes the vet report, you can guess what the report says. A 'renaissance' and a 'Golden Age' in one press release, and not a single number anybody outside the building checked. If the factories were really humming like that, you wouldn't need the government to tell you. You'd hear it from the guy down the street who got hired.
