Paank, the Baloch National Movement's human rights arm, alleged that Pakistani forces forcibly disappeared three more civilians in Balochistan, including a 17-year-old student. The group said 27-year-old Wajid Baloch was taken August 10 in Quetta by the Counter Terrorism Department, 17-year-old Asfand Baloch was taken August 4 by ISI, CTD and Military Intelligence, and 40-year-old Asif Ali was taken August 1 by ISI and CTD personnel from his home.

Paank said the whereabouts of all three remain unknown and called the disappearance of a minor especially alarming. The organization urged Pakistani authorities to disclose the men's locations and release them, and called on the UN and international community to press Islamabad over what it described as a continuing pattern of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings in the province.
