Russian forces struck a minibus with a drone in Kherson's Tsentralnyi district around 11:45 a.m. on September 4, according to the regional military administration. Five people were injured, including a 67-year-old man and two women aged 61 and 69, three of whom were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds, concussions, and blast injuries.
A passenger car was also damaged in the same attack. It follows a similar drone strike on a taxi in Kherson's Korabelnyi district on September 1 that injured three adults and two children.
Regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin has urged residents to evacuate, citing worsening drone attacks and strikes on energy infrastructure, and said he considers it necessary to be candid about the danger even when the news is unwelcome.
