Arakhamia warned NABU and SAPO of imminent attack before Kravchenko’s move against Kryvonos

Servant of the People faction leader David Arakhamia warned the heads of NABU and SAPO about an impending attack a week before then-Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced charges against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos, Ukrainska Pravda reported, citing political sources.

Kravchenko had submitted his resignation on September 7 amid corruption-scheme reports, then on September 14 accused Kryvonos of forging documents, a claim Kryvonos called fabricated and NABU called a continuation of attacks on anti-corruption institutions.

That same evening, the Office of the Prosecutor General itself said the charge reports were false and that no charges had actually been filed for lack of legal grounds.

President Zelenskyy suspended Kravchenko by decree, parliament approved his dismissal 317 votes to none dissenting reported, and Kravchenko, who says he was abroad on official business, has not returned.

A prosecutor who announces charges that his own office later says never existed has not made an accusation, he's made an exit plan. Getting tipped off about your own scandal a week in advance is the kind of warning most people would call a conscience, not intelligence.
