Romanian President Nicusor Dan announced that the Ukrainian–Romanian Commission on National Minority Rights would meet Aug. 28 to discuss minority-language education in both countries. He made the announcement in Chisinau alongside Moldovan President Maia Sandu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who were there marking Moldova's 35th independence anniversary.
Dan said the trilateral talks also touched on energy, infrastructure, and security, plus Ukraine and Moldova's EU integration, including highway and interconnector projects funded through the EU's SAFE program. Zelenskyy added that Ukraine and Moldova are pursuing new joint projects in the same areas.
