CNN commentator Scott Jennings accused Sen. Jon Ossoff of sexism for referencing aide Natalie Harp while criticizing Trump's priorities, calling Ossoff a coward when he defended the remark. The White House had separately objected to Ossoff's comment about Harp, who is frequently at Trump's side.

Critics quickly pointed to Trump's own documented history, including the 'Access Hollywood' tape, comments telling a reporter to be quiet by calling her 'piggy,' asking another if she's 'a stupid person,' and calling a New York Times reporter 'ugly.'

Trump was also ordered to pay $5 million to writer E. Jean Carroll after a jury found him liable for sexual abuse and later defamation, a verdict the Supreme Court has since declined to disturb.

The full dispatch is available from the source below.

✒ FROM THE EDITORIAL DESK
Accusing a senator of sexism on behalf of a president found liable for sexual abuse by a jury is a defense that collapses the moment anyone checks the record, which took approximately one afternoon. The record, as usual, was already public.
