UP YOURS! launches its inaugural GOD SAVE THE QUEENS festival across London from July to November 2026, honoring Poly Styrene and the women who shaped punk's sound and visual identity.
The centrepiece is a one-night performance at Electric Brixton on October 16, featuring a reunited X-Ray Spex with Lora Logic and Paul Dean, joined by Celeste Bell performing her mother Poly Styrene's songs.
A companion exhibition at the Museum of Youth Culture, running October 22 to November 22, will display rare archival material including original Oh Bondage Up Yours! artwork, Gina Birch's paintings, and items from The Clash, The Adverts, and the Zandra Rhodes Foundation.
The festival also includes talks, screenings and workshops at the British Library and V&A aimed at connecting punk's DIY history with younger audiences.
