Model Paige Jimenez has sued Los Angeles attorney Bryan Freedman, alleging he created a website accusing her of drug dealing and prostitution after she refused to end a relationship at the request of her boyfriend's wealthy parents. Jimenez says Freedman texted her a threat referencing the LAPD, DEA and IRS, followed shortly by the launch of a site that called her a 'ketamine queen' and falsely linked her to Matthew Perry's death.
The lawsuit alleges Freedman, along with PR operatives Melissa Nathan and Jed Wallace, ran similar smear campaigns against other women, including Blake Lively, Jessica Serfaty and Amanda Ghost, in what one trade outlet dubbed 'Hollywood's secret smear machine.' A spokesperson for Nathan's firm denied any contact with Jimenez; Freedman did not respond to requests for comment.

Setting up a website to call a private citizen a drug dealer over a breakup is the kind of thing that used to require actual mob connections, and now apparently just requires a PR budget. If even a fraction of this pattern holds up in court, it says less about any one lawyer and more about how cheap it's gotten to manufacture a smear campaign with a straight face. The fanciest law degree in the building doesn't make a burner website any less of a burner website.
