German media report police have identified two suspects, one a Belarusian-Russian dual national and the other a Latvian-Russian dual national, linked to a drone incident involving explosives at Leipzig airport last month.

German authorities blamed Russia for using 'low-level agents' and responded by closing the Russian consulate in Bonn and a Russian cultural center in Berlin. DNA traces on the drone, a tin can of explosives and a tree-mounted antenna reportedly led investigators to the suspects via European databases.

Russia has denied involvement and summoned Germany's charge d'affaires in protest, while Ukraine's president called it 'yet another Russian escalation.'
