Two Latvians and Ukrainian suspected of attempted arson at drone factory in Slovakia
Slovak and German authorities have detained two Latvian citizens and one Ukrainian on suspicion of plotting to firebomb a Slovak factory operated by Ukrainian drone manufacturer Skyeton. One suspect, a 26-year-old Latvian, was detained in Hamburg and faces possible extradition; the other two remain in custody in Slovakia.
Police say they intercepted the plot before it was carried out and seized a gasoline-and-polystyrene mixture consistent with napalm production. A previously unknown group calling itself a 'peace movement' claimed responsibility for the planned attack, while Skyeton suggested Russia could be behind it, citing a pattern of targeting Ukrainian defense manufacturers and their reputations.
