✒ FROM THE EDITORIAL DESK
A deadlock that has lasted six months gets recycled into daily fuel-price copy because the pumps didn't move, which is itself the most honest fact in the piece. The real story, buried under duty schedules, is a government hedging between cheap Russian oil and an American sanctions threat, and hoping nobody asks it to choose.
