The Telegraph reports that Russia has built 10 new drone bases along its borders with Ukraine and Belarus, citing satellite imagery reviewed by analysts at DroneSec. The bases, some new and some repurposed from existing military or civilian airfields, together hold 59 launch pads, with one site capable of storing over 1,000 drones.

Twenty of those launch pads reportedly handle newer variants of the Geran attack drone, modeled on Iran's Shahed, with an estimated range up to 1,000 kilometers — theoretically enough to reach Warsaw. Drone production plants across Russia, including facilities in the Alabuga economic zone, are said to supply the network.

The Telegraph notes no current indication Russia intends to strike Polish territory, even as the bases are already being used extensively against Ukraine.
