Devon Sawa, who played a teenager with a fatal plane-explosion premonition in the original ‘Final Destination,’ told a podcast he considers himself safe from actually dying in a plane crash, reasoning the coincidence would be ‘too perfect’ to happen. He has previously said he would return to the franchise if asked, despite his character later being confirmed dead between films.

The podcast hosts noted that if Sawa did die in a plane crash, it would generate tabloid attention, to which he replied he does not intend to give anyone ‘that joy.’
