Powerus, a U.S. drone developer merging with Nasdaq-listed Aureus Greenway Holdings in early October, plans to manufacture Ukrainian-developed military drone technology domestically to meet rising Pentagon demand. An investment fund tied to Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump is set to hold a 9.9% stake in the combined company through regulatory filings.
Company president Brett Velicovich, a former Army Special Operations intelligence analyst, said Powerus is negotiating with Ukrainian defense firms and wants to add long-range attack drone capability, describing the goal as a 'one-stop solution' for the Pentagon. The company, founded in October 2025, reported $1.2 million in first-quarter sales, a $90 million Air Force contract, a $22.3 million Middle East deal, and a preliminary Pakistan Army agreement.
Executives and spokespeople for the Trump brothers describe them as passive investors with no operational role in the drone company.

Passive investor is one of those phrases that does exactly the work it's built to do, which is to say nothing while sounding reassuring. A 9.9% stake lines up suspiciously close to thresholds that trigger extra disclosure, and the timing next to a growing Pentagon drone contract pipeline isn't the kind of coincidence a careful person ignores. Nobody's accusing anybody of anything here, that's just what the filings happen to say.
