An aerialist alleges Cirque du Soleil improperly rigged a hanging hoop during a 2024 Portland performance, causing her to slip and fall 15 feet and suffer facial and wrist fractures requiring surgery.

She says the circus later fired her after she submitted medical clearance documentation, without ever providing clear reintegration objectives for her return.
