Natalie Harp mocked for Trump devotion on SNL, Jimmy Kimmel

Both Saturday Night Live and Jimmy Kimmel Live ran sketches this week mocking White House aide Natalie Harp's public devotion to President Trump, with SNL depicting her running from Washington to be near him and Kimmel's wife playing a version who calls herself his guardian and protector. White House spokesman Davis Ingle called Harp one of the administration's hardest-working aides and blamed the coverage on declining media trust.

The sketches follow real scrutiny: Senator Jon Ossoff accused Trump last month of preferring to travel with Harp than do his job, and outlets have published letters in which Harp told Trump he is all that matters to her and thanked him for being her guardian and protector. Harp, a former One America News host, has worked for Trump since 2022 and became known internally as the human printer.

When the comedians only have to read your own letters back to you, the jokes pretty much write themselves. The press office can blame declining media trust all it likes, but nobody at SNL made up the part about the guardian and protector. If you don't want it read aloud on Saturday night, maybe don't mail it to the boss.
