A Ukrainian missile strike killed six people in the village of Koloskovo in Russia's Belgorod region, according to acting regional governor Alexander Shuvaev, who reported the deaths on the morning of August 17.

Four others were injured, including a 14-year-old; two were treated at the scene while two were hospitalized. A Telegram channel monitoring the region claimed the strike actually occurred more than ten hours earlier, on the evening of August 16, raising questions about the reporting timeline.
