Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham told CNN's Erin Burnett that President Trump is ‘backed into a corner’ after banning CNN, Politico, and MS NOW from White House grounds, a move that prompted five networks in the presidential pool to suspend coverage. The ban left Trump's remarks at a South Lawn helipad unveiling largely inaudible.
Grisham predicted Trump won't admit the ban was a mistake and will instead fight legal challenges up to the Supreme Court, possibly leaning on his pardon power to encourage people to carry out contested instructions.
