The Wall Street Journal's editorial board criticized President Trump's invitation for Vladimir Putin to attend the G-20 summit at Trump National Doral in Miami this December, calling it ‘morally offensive’ given Western intelligence warnings about Russia's escalating hybrid war against NATO states. The board argued Putin's attendance would function as a global rehabilitation photo-op even as his war on Ukraine grinds on and Russian public patience wears thin.
