Amazon said Sunday it is pausing operations with 21 Air, the Miami-based cargo carrier whose Boeing 767-300 freighter overran a runway at Miami International Airport last weekend, killing five people and striking vehicles on the ground. The aircraft was 32 years old and had spent two decades flying passengers before conversion to cargo use.

The National Transportation Safety Board said flight data shows the pilots considered aborting the landing after touchdown, and one pilot warned just over a minute before the crash that the plane was flying too fast. The flight was the aircraft's third of the day, having flown from Cincinnati to Miami to San Juan before the fatal Miami landing.
