EA has set NHL 27 for a September 11, 2026 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with Deluxe Edition buyers getting a seven-day head start on September 4. Connor McDavid becomes the first player rated 99 overall in the franchise's history, a milestone EA marked by branding a '99 Club' around him.

No PC or Switch version has been announced. Pre-order tiers offer varying bundles of in-game currency, roster packs and cosmetic loadouts, with the Deluxe Edition costing more for early access and extra digital items.
