The boast is built so that nothing can ever check it: a stockpile larger than anyone could ever think of using is, conveniently, a stockpile no auditor can count. Note the structure — anyone who raises the question is preemptively filed under cowards and traitors, which is not a rebuttal but a threat wearing a rebuttal's coat. And if the supply is truly inexhaustible, one wonders why it needs building up at levels never seen before; abundance and emergency rarely share a sentence unless someone is improvising. A commander in chief with real numbers tends to use them.
