✒ FROM THE EDITORIAL DESK
A holiday greeting that pauses mid-salutation to name the people it is not really greeting is not a greeting; it is a subpoena with tinsel on it. Note the tell buried in the middle: the complaint is not that his opponents are winning but that they refuse to be tired, which is the logic of a man who believes fatigue is a form of consent. And the promise to win an election that has not happened, in all caps, from an office sworn to administer it fairly, is less a prediction than a memo to himself. Labor Day honors workers; this honors one.
