Letitia James is not a cop, dirty or otherwise. She is the elected attorney general whose office won a civil fraud judgment against the man now diagnosing her ‘stench.’ The post’s legal theory, that a decision can be appealed because of who stood near it, appears in no rulebook. Neither does a President who has more to say about a prosecutor’s smell than about anyone harmed in the case.
