Few denials manage to concede the charge in the very next clause, but here we are: China and Russia aren't helping Iran, except perhaps a little, which doesn't count, because he doesn't believe it. The assurance that ‘we would know about it, and know about it very fast’ is less intelligence briefing than mood, offered with no word on whether we do know, and how fast that was. Calling critics ‘Morons and Lunatics’ for raising a question the President then half-answers in their favor is a bold rhetorical strategy, chiefly in the sense that it skips the part where you win the argument. And the closing thanks for our attention lands oddly, since the matter appears to have been settled entirely in favor of not knowing.
